With casino revenues already largely in the toilet for nearly all Atlantic City’s land casinos, and the gambling town still coping with last year’s devastation brought on by Hurricane Sandy which shut straight down many of the city’s casinos for days the final thing this nj-new jersey town needed had been any proximity at all to just one more disaster. Along with final week’s horrific Boardwalk fire in the Seaside Heights area perhaps not directly attached to AC, but along the same stretch that is 217-mile of shoreline that is frequented by most same tourists and locals one can’t help but wonder if Atlantic City may also need an exorcist or to put bloodstream on its casino walls for the passover of this apparently ongoing plagues which are being doled out of on high.
Or possibly, wooden boardwalks while charming whenever built 150 years ago are simply not a safe building material into the contemporary world. Fire specialists are, in reality, now saying the destructive fire seems to own been an episode of arson, although the inspiration is unclear.
